Hotel Rooms in
Art Deco on South Beach, waterfront luxury in Brickell, and hidden gems in Wynwood. Miami's hotel scene is as layered as the city itself.
Four Seasons Hotel Miami
Rooms are clean, comfortable, and smell great with soft beds. Service excels for small groups and special occasions but fails badly for large events. The pool and restaurants are standout features.
The Elser Hotel Miami
Spacious rooms with high-quality beds and pillows overlook the port and Bayside. The rooftop pool, gym, and restaurant are excellent. Staff consistently go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and cared for.
Hampton Inn & Suites Miami/Brickell-Downtown
Rooms are spacious and clean with good air conditioning and hot water. Staff generally deliver excellent service, though the front desk sometimes doesn't answer calls. The shuttle to the cruise terminal is unreliable, so plan transportation carefully.
The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami
Rooms are small, noisy, and show age with poor soundproofing and outdated fixtures. Staff delivers exceptional service. Breakfast at Isabelle's is excellent and worth the value, but noise issues and room placement disappoint at this price point.
EAST Miami
Spacious, clean rooms with great city views and comfortable beds. Excellent staff and rooftop restaurants make it worth the stay, though some guests found the property feels older than its five-star price suggests. Prime Brickell location puts everything within walking distance.
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Airport South Blue Lagoon
Spacious suites with kitchens and separate bedrooms give you real living space. Staff goes out of their way to help with luggage, early check-in, and shuttle arrangements. Breakfast is basic and crowded at peak times, and rooms have cheap one-ply toilet paper.
JW Marriott Marquis Miami
Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, but cleanliness is inconsistent—one guest found black mold in the shower and uncleaned carpets. Front desk service varies wildly from excellent to unhelpful. Expect hidden fees and potential issues with housekeeping requests.
citizenM Miami World Center
Rooms are tiny cruise-ship-sized spaces with comfortable beds and good soundproofing, but the hotel excels at location near downtown and the arena. Staff is friendly but stretched thin, housekeeping can't handle same-day requests, and wifi is weak. Pay the $20 for breakfast.
Kimpton EPIC Hotel
Rooms are spacious with great views and modern furnishings, but cleanliness is inconsistent. Service quality swings wildly depending on who handles your request. Check-in moves slowly and breakfast requires reservations or it gets packed.
JW Marriott Miami
Rooms are clean, modern, and feature good natural light with nice downtown views. Staff excels at service and goes out of their way to help guests. Location in Brickell puts you walking distance from shops and restaurants, though some common areas need updates.
Hilton Miami Downtown
Rooms are spacious and clean with great views of Miami skyline or Biscayne Bay, though one guest found hair on the bed and shower. Staff delivers excellent service. Rooftop events create noise problems for some guests.
Novotel Miami Brickell
Rooms are clean and spacious with good views, but expect railroad noise on lower floors and minimal amenities since it's eco-friendly. Staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby looks better in photos than in person, and the on-site restaurant serves mediocre food.
Hyatt Regency Miami
Rooms are spacious and clean but dated with thin windows that let highway noise in. Staff excels at service, especially valet and front desk. The downtown location makes getting around easy, though elevators sometimes malfunction and the gym is cramped.
Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay
Staff quality swings wildly here. Housekeeping and some front desk workers excel, but service gaps frustrate frequent travelers. Rooms stay clean and the location is solid, but basic amenities like drinking water and reliable hot water sometimes fail, making the high nightly rate hard to justify.
DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay
Rooms are spacious with bay views but dirty windows, worn carpeting, and broken amenities like toilets and AC. Staff ranges from helpful to dismissive. Heavy ongoing construction blocks the main entrance and creates confusion, while management ignores complaints. Skip it unless you find a steep discount.
Pullman Miami Airport
The hotel sits close to the airport with a good breakfast and friendly staff, but guests report wildly different room experiences. Some found beds comfy and rooms spacious, while others got dated dark rooms with worn-out soft beds and poor shower pressure. You might get a great stay or a disappointing one.
